A: Telangana Culture, Resources, Issues, Places, People, History & Struggles. You can choose to select any topic / subject related to Telangana that will fit the above categories
- Q: Do i have to be from Telangana to participate in ‘Film Telangana 2009′ ?
A: No. It doen’t matter where you are from or who you are as long as the short film you submit is about Telangana and fits in one of the above category. Please make sure that it meets our Rules and Regulations.
- Q: Can I enter / submit more than one film?
A: Yes, but you are limited to one film per Category and each submission must be a different film. But, you may only be a winner for one Film. Don’t forget to fill a seperate application for each film.
- Q: What file formats can I submit?
A: WMV, AVI, MOV, or MPG file formats are allowed.
- Q: What rights am I agreeing to when I submit my film?
A: See Rules and Regulations. In order for us to air your film on behalf of ‘Discover Telangana‘ and on our website, you will have to give us an unlimited non-exclusive license for just the submitted version of your film.
- Q: I took some music off of a CD. Is this okay?
A: All music used in your film submission must have releases or clearances from whoever owns the music rights.
- Q: How can I tell if my film is “Telangana” enough?
A: We are looking for compelling stories about Telangana, that have never been seen in the main stream; that will be the major criteria.
- Q: I submitted my film but I don’t see it on the site yet. What happened?
A: Your film is still under review by our moderators. You will receive email notification when your submission has been accepted and is live on the site or has been found unacceptable due to stated criteria.
- Q: I have a very good script / talent / skill, will you help me sponsor the movie?
A: NO ! ‘Film Telangana’ or ‘Discover Telangana Inc’ or anyone associated with the contest will not sponsor your movie. But if you win in the contest you can recieve interesting cash prizes, Click here for more information.
